About Roadhouse Ranch

Roadhouse Ranch began as a personal project rooted in a long-standing connection to the High Desert. I’ve spent years in this landscape, drawn to its space, quiet, and character, and I built Roadhouse Ranch as a reflection of how I believe people should experience it: unhurried, grounded, and authentic.

My love for the desert runs deep, from Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley to the back roads, old ranches, and off-grid corners that still feel untouched. Western culture, simplicity, and self-reliance have always shaped how I live and how I build. That influence carries through everything at Roadhouse Ranch, from the homes themselves to the details that make each stay feel intentional rather than staged.

You’ll also hear about Donkey Hote, my donkey and the unofficial mayor of Pioneertown. He resides at the Pioneertown Ranch and has become a small but meaningful symbol of the spirit that drew me here in the first place: humor, independence, and a sense of place that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

In addition to our vacation homes, I personally curate a collection of unique travel trailer stays inspired by classic western road culture. These trailers are located at Desert Drifter RV Resort in Yucca Valley, where guests can experience a more nostalgic, stripped-down version of desert living without sacrificing comfort or care. Each trailer reflects the same philosophy as the ranch homes: thoughtful design, restraint, and respect for the landscape.

Everything under the Roadhouse Ranch umbrella is hands-on and owner-curated. I don’t believe in overpromising or mass-produced experiences. I focus on creating places that feel honest, well cared for, and worth returning to, whether you’re here to unplug for a weekend, reset for a longer stay, or simply spend time in a part of California that still feels wild.
